Atlanta’s own Caleb Colossus is stepping into a new chapter with the release of his latest album When A Man Falls, a deeply personal project that reflects growth, faith, heartbreak, and resilience.
Featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Durand Bernarr, the album arrives during a pivotal moment in Caleb’s career. While many recognize him from Rhythm + Flow, Caleb has continued building his name independently through music, storytelling, and major brand partnerships with companies like KFC and PrizePicks.
Raised in Stone Mountain just outside of Atlanta, Caleb started rapping in middle school before eventually turning his passion into a full-time pursuit. Despite years of releases, industry meetings, and building a loyal fanbase independently, the road hasn’t been easy.
When A Man Falls was created after Caleb faced criticism from labels who questioned whether his music fit today’s mainstream culture. Instead of changing who he was, he leaned deeper into honesty.
Throughout the album, Caleb opens up about faith, relationships, pressure, purpose, and the reality of trying to navigate adulthood while chasing a dream. Songs across the project touch on heartbreak, self-doubt, comparisons, healing, and the constant tension between ambition and stability.
The project balances vulnerability with hope. Whether he’s reflecting on lost relationships, questioning his future, or talking to God through the music, Caleb delivers a body of work that feels real, intentional, and relatable for anyone figuring life out in real time.
One standout record, “Hubby,” featuring Durand Bernarr, adds another layer to the album with smooth storytelling and emotional perspective. Across the entire project, Caleb continues to show why authenticity still matters in music.
When A Man Falls is more than just an album title. It’s a reflection of what happens when life doesn’t go according to plan, and the decision to keep going anyway.
